GETTING TO KNOW YOU Ned

NOW 2007 VINTAGE RELEASED SEPTEMBER 2007
PRICE STILL HOLDING AT $177 A DOZEN

the Ned is the latest Sauvignon Blanc from Brent Marris ( previous owner and still winemaker for Wither Hills) is named after the summit of Marlborough at 909 meters above sea level. An impressive Marlborough icon, the Ned is an abiding symbol of "The Summit of Marlborough".
Brent says " I have created this amazing wine, packed with ripe herbaceous notes, underpinned with a striking hint of citrus. The cold nights of the 2005 vintage have particularly cemented its intense flavours.

the Ned has a normal retail price of $20.27, however, we have been in a fortunate position to  take advantage of a once up INTRODUCTORY super deal. It is yours for $14.95 each (minimum three in a mixed dozen) OR the way to go is take a dozen at $177 (and that is $14.75 each). This is a RED HOT price and is our top selling Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc.

If it sounds a cheap price, well it is.
It comes with both Robyn and my unequivocal recommendation.

Post Note January 2006. Since writing the above special and notes, the NED began selling slowly as one would expect from a new label. Well, as each bottle sold, they came back for more and in dozen lots. Even friends from Paris who love their Loire Sauvignon Blancs admitted the NED was something very special and even used it for their daughter's wedding and took the balance back to Paris 18th January. It is just a superb wine, not overly herbaceous, sits very well on the palate and the last drop is as good as the first. The "It comes with both Robyn and my unequivocal recommendation." mentioned above has stood the time and even more so now.

Moreish factor of 2 to 6 -
is our a quick scoring technique we use to judge the
drink ability of a wine
e.g. 6/6 would be the highest score we use when you want
more and possibly find it difficult to share the
"last drop" with others. Now forget all other complicated
judging techniques, in the end it comes down to:-
do you like it or not?
