You can include single bottle purchases of fortifieds with your other wine  
purchase and you can also add single bottle purchases from the 
"Museum Cellared Wine" list to make up a dozen.
Listed prices are per bottle 
when buying a full unbroken case. However, we will mix a dozen 
bottle case as long as you order a minimum of 3 bottles of any 
one wine unless a higher minimum prevails. You can also add single 
bottle purchases  from the "Museum Cellared Wine" list to make up 
a dozen.
We send in cases of 12 bottles, any less please contact for freight 
costs. A 15% discount for exports applies to the wines > $15 in this 
list.     Prices are ex our warehouse.

 Developed, golden brown, this starts as a Manzanilla, 
 light toffee, rancio characters over structure, and clean 
 acid. The grape varieties are Palomino and Pedro Ximenez, 
 and it has aged 3 years in Flor, and 3 years in solera system. 
 Serve cool to cold, with stock based soups, dark/meaty tapas, 
 terrines, olives and mushrooms.
BARBADILLO Oloroso Full Dry Sherry            ....$18.50 ...
 Authentic, dark, rich, complex, treacle, rancio and coffee 
 notes, with fine dry finish. The wine is made from Palomino and 
 Pedro Ximenez grapes, and has spent approximately 15 years in 
 solera, and has an alcohol content of 18%. Serve at room 
 temperature, with ‘dark things’, rich sauces, terrines, pates, 
 pastas, dark hotpots, vinegar soups and broths, dark mushrooms, 
 soy and nuts!

 Pedro Ximenez grapes. The wine has spent more than 20 years

 It doesn’t get better than this!
 No, it’s not cheap, but what price perfection? When you taste the 
 syrupy texture, incredible depth, spicy, nutty complexity and endless 
 aftertaste of this old muscat, its hard to imagine how it could 
 be improved. Max Allen
 My favourite of this quartet is the virtually perfect Rare Muscat Merchant Prince.  
 Its dark amber colour is accompanied by an extraordinary perfume of toffee, 
 caramels, prunes and raisins with hints of maple syrup and soy.  Although 
 its viscosity is reminiscent of motor oil, the wine is not cloyingly sweet 
 because of good underlying acidity as well as surprising tannin that frames 
 this enormously endowed, sweet elixir.  This stunning offering is one of 
 Australia’s treasures. Rating: 99 points

 might ensure that the Grandfather Tawny Liqueur is the way 
 to go. Amazingly rich and honeyed with hints of figs, prunes, 
 caramel, and toffee, it is a gorgeous, brilliantly made 
 fortified wine composed of 

Shiraz

 and Mourvedre. This brilliant 
 fortified is remarkably light on its feet given its massive 
 richness. Thank good winemaking, great natural extract, and 
 zesty acidity for keeping this wine fresh in spite of its huge 
 residual sweetness and power.

Sad to know this label is no more - Kilikanoon has bought the 
remaining stock and we are not sure under what label it will be released.
We do know that they have been busy at Seppeltfield Victoria cranking up 
the old winery and intend to process fruit this 2008 for the first time in 3 years.
If the same winemaking techniques are adopted, then we should see similar
quality fortifieds in the future.
